Wind Farm App Features
The Wind Farm App interfaces with ISO New England's system to send them forecasts of your turbine MW capacity. It also downloads short-term, medium-term, and long-term forecast data from ISO New England. That data is based on how they have processed your wind farm's turbine capacity.
The app is developed, hosted, and maintained by Aptuitiv. It is web-based, so all you need is an internet connection and a browser to access the app. You can have multiple users access the system and set up access restrictions if you want to. For example, you could set up a user that can only view data and can’t make any outage or turbine capacity adjustments.
Forecasts and Outages
You can view your turbine’s forecast information, schedule outages and adjust capacity.
Forecast Data from ISO New England
You can view all forecast information from ISO New England in the app or download it as a report. You can also export forecast information as CSV files.
Logging
Everything in the app is logged thoroughly to help with accountability and troubleshooting if there is an issue with the ISO New England system.
Five Minute Locational Marginal Prices Feed Log
There is also support for a separate Five Minute Locational Marginal Prices Feed Log where you can set up email notifications if the LMP Total value dips below a customizable trigger value.
